Create an adorable advent calendar using each of these squares. Each square measures approx. 4x4 and fits in all hoop sizes. Cut the eyelets out, trim fabric away close to satin stitched edge and stack the entire calendar of blocks. Use ring clips in the eyelets, then loop a piece of satin ribbon thru the rings to hang on your tree. You can also hang the rings on a small wooden dowel, or use ribbon instead of rings...be creative in how you loop your squares together, there is no one way to do it, it is entirely up to you! Each day in December you can flip your calendar to the next day! This makes an interesting Christmas Tree Ornament that you can change daily! Another fun idea is to make one square each day of December, then on Christmas Day you will have the whole stack made! This would be a great craft project for your kids and/or grandkids!
