The Cherry Dress is a favorite classic and was featured in Sew Beautiful Magazine! It is a button-front, knife-pleated dress with piped puff sleeves and a piped Peter Pan collar. The center back of the dress has an inverted pleat with the same knife-pleats across either side of the inverted pleat.
The button-front has cherry stems and leaves embroidery in which the button holes are built into the embroidery motif. The red buttons create the cherries and the embroidery motif is included!

Baby Beatrix Layette for Boys and GirlsBaby Beatrix Layette is a sweet matinee jacket and diaper cover set for boys and/or girls. The boys style has a straight back and the girls style has an optional inverted pleat at the center back. Front opening closes with silk satin ribbon and tacked down with buttons. The diaper cover button closes on front. Add Peter Rabbit or Jemima Puddle Duck to the front of the jacket with included shadow work machine embroidery or can be done by hand! For the sample garments, I worked the machine shadow work on the front of onesies to coordinate with the matinee jacket!Embroidery can also be done by hand using the included color chart diagram. Gown Features:
The gown opens in the front and snaps on the shoulders and down the back. The front opening allows for easy access for monitoring devices that may be attached to the belly while in labor. During delivery the gown is easily opened in the front so that the baby can be placed on the mom’s belly without messing up the gown. After delivery the crossed front can tie to either side and allows for easy access to breast-feeding. The snap up back keeps everything modestly covered while a laboring mom is walking halls, and is also easily accessed for an epidural. This gown really lends itself well for any woman, not just OB patients, although it was designed specifically for maternity and nursing.
